Insurance pensions indexed by 7.6% since January 1

Since January 1, insurance pensions have been indexed by 7.6% for both non-working and working pensioners. This is evidenced by the relevant law published on the official Internet portal for the publication of legal acts.

As a result of the indexation, the average old-age insurance pension will amount to more than 27 thousand rubles.

In addition, since January 1, the fixed (basic) amount has also been increased, which is added to the insurance pension. Now it reaches 9584.69 rubles. The cost of the individual pension coefficient has also increased, now it is 156.76 rubles.

Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, announced on January 2 that working pensioners who missed pension indexation from 2016 to 2024 will receive an increase in state payments after their dismissal. In addition, according to Nilov, non-working pensioners are entitled to an additional payment up to the subsistence level if their pension is lower than this indicator.
