Trump has admitted using makeup on his hands
On January 1, US President Donald Trump admitted to applying makeup to his hands amid concerns about his health. He said this in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
"I have makeup, which, you know, is easy to apply, it takes about 10 seconds," Trump said, commenting on media questions about his appearance.
The day before, CNN drew attention to the appearance of new bruises on Trump's hands. It is noted that medical experts have not confirmed the concerns, pointing out that this is a common phenomenon for the elderly.
White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said on December 11 that Trump uses a Band-Aid on his right wrist due to the large number of handshakes he does daily at meetings. She also noted that the leader of the United States takes aspirin, which "may contribute to the appearance of bruises."
Earlier, on November 13, it was reported that Trump reappeared in public with a thick layer of foundation on his hand. Then the media noticed that during the signing of the law on temporary expenses, he tried to partially hide his right hand, which caused a discussion on social networks.
On December 24, Trump was seen again with bruises on his hands at a Christmas event. The American leader celebrated the eve of the holiday with his wife Melania.
