On January 1, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the receipt of two new Patriot air defense systems as part of previously reached agreements with Germany.

It is noted that this was achieved thanks to agreements with the German government.

On December 30, the Romanian Foreign Ministry announced that Romania had joined the program for the purchase of American weapons "List of Priority Requirements of Ukraine" (PURL) for the country's military needs, allocating €50 million under the program.
