On December 29, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky refused to acknowledge Kiev's involvement in the drone attack on the residence of Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region.

"Ukraine is not taking steps that could weaken diplomacy," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Zelensky also claims that Kiev is working with Washington to bring the conflict closer to resolution.
