The media announced a new date for the funeral of French actress Brigitte Bardot in Saint-Tropez.

French cinema icon Brigitte Bardot will be buried on January 7 at the cemetery in Saint-Tropez. This was reported on December 29 by the Reuters news agency with reference to the French BFM TV channel.

"The funeral will take place on January 7 at 10:00 GMT (13:00 Moscow time. - Ed.) in the church of Notre-Dame de l'assompsion in Saint-Tropez," the publication says.

Philippe Volmier, a Saint-Tropez resident who knew Bardot, told Reuters that she was wonderful and helped people, and everyone will miss her.
