The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the completion of the autumn draft

In Russia, the autumn draft of 2025 ended, 135 thousand conscripts were sent to military service. This was announced on December 29 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 690 dated September 29, 2025, this fall, 135,000 people were drafted and sent to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and other troops and military formations," the department's Telegram channel said.

The Ministry of Defense noted that for the first time the draft was conducted using the state unified register of summonses. To ensure the transportation of conscripts, 17 flights of aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, 104 flights of civil aviation, 13 military echelons, as well as passenger trains and transport of military units were involved.
