Three strong Class M flares were recorded on the Sun. This was reported on December 29 on the website of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy and Heliophysical Instrumentation (IKI RAS and ISSF SB RAS).

It is noted that the first outbreak lasted from 00:03 to 00:23 Moscow time, its maximum occurred at 00:13 Moscow time. The second, the longest, was observed from 01:01 to 01:54 Moscow time and peaked at 01:39 Moscow time, its power was M4.2.

At the same time, this indicator turned out to be slightly lower than that of the outbreak recorded on the night of December 28. Also, the third outbreak occurred between 02:57 and 03:07 Moscow time with a maximum at 03:02 Moscow time. In addition, another Class C flare was detected at 6:05 a.m. Moscow time.

On December 27, the largest solar flare since December 8 occurred on the Sun. So, the power of the event was about 50% of the threshold of the highest X score. It was also emphasized that the peak of outbreak activity will occur during the New Year holidays.
