Law schools to include Dolina case in their curriculum
Students of law faculties of Russian universities will begin to study the case of singer Larisa Dolina's apartment as part of educational programs. This was announced on December 29 by representatives of the country's leading universities.
"The analyzed case, along with other explanations from the Higher Courts of Russia, will be studied by students while mastering the St. Petersburg State University Master's degree programs "Lawyer in the field of real estate turnover", "Civil Law, Family Law", "Civil Procedure, arbitration process". To be honest, my students and I followed the developments in this case with interest and discussed possible ways to resolve it during civil law seminars," Tatiana Krasnova, Head of the Department of Environmental Law at St. Petersburg State University, told RIA Novosti.
Olga Zharkova, Associate Professor at St. Petersburg State University, added that it is planned to expand the approach to the study of forecasting and risk analysis in the real estate market.
"We may have to think about inviting not only lawyers, but also psychologists and sociologists to our program ("Lawyer in the field of real estate turnover" — ed.) as lecturers.… All this, of course, will be taken into account when teaching our students," she said.
