On December 25, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree to revoke the scholarship of world and European champion in diving Sofia Lyskun due to her acceptance of Russian citizenship.

"In accordance with the regulations on scholarships of the President of Ukraine for outstanding and young and promising athletes of Ukraine in Olympic sports and their coaches <... >, to deprive Sofia V. In addition, the Ukrainian leader also limited the scholarship of the athlete's coach Alexandra Sendzyuk.
