"The police are asking for help in identifying the suspects who used a stolen SUV to pull out an ATM and thereby destroy the store," the department said in a statement.

It is noted that the attackers, who arrived in a stolen SUV from Dallas, tied a metal cable to the ATM and tried to pull it out, abruptly starting to move. The device smashed through a storefront, demolished a store and flew out into the street, damaging a car parked at a gas station.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured, but the ATM broke off the cable and was found abandoned on the side of the highway, the TV channel said. The SUV was later found abandoned in another area of the city. Police say both suspects were wearing black hoodies, masks and orange gloves.
