The Federation Council approved the abolition of the annual declaration of income of civil servants

On December 24, the Federation Council approved a new package of laws, according to which civil servants are no longer required to file income declarations annually.

According to the new regulations, officials are required to file declarations only if there are grounds for declaring expenses or when appointing a member of the government. Also, mandatory declaration remains in place when making transactions for an amount exceeding the three-year income of an official and his immediate family.
