Ukrainian Armed Forces drones tried to attack an enterprise in the Orenburg region

Drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to attack one of the industrial facilities in the Orenburg region. This was announced on December 24 by the governor of the region Evgeny Solntsev.

"The UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to attack one of the industrial facilities in the region. The forces and means of the Russian Defense Ministry repelled this attack. At the same time, the infrastructure of the enterprise is slightly damaged," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to Solntsev, one downed drone crashed in a populated area. There are no casualties. Operational services are working at the scene of the incident.

The operator of the FPV drone, who destroyed hundreds of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is confident that he will return to service after being seriously injured.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems had destroyed 23 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia. They added that six Ukrainian drones were eliminated over the Orenburg region, three drones over the Kaluga region, nine UAVs over the territory of Crimea, two more over the Bryansk region and one each over the Belgorod region, the Moscow region and Bashkiria.
