Academician Logunov has been appointed as the new director of the Gamaleya Center

Denis Logunov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who previously served as Deputy Director for Scientific Work, has been appointed head of the N. F. Gamalei National Research Center. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Health on December 22.

"Head of the National Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Denis Logunov has been appointed Gamalei of the Russian Ministry of Health," the ministry said.

It is specified that now Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Ginzburg, who previously headed the center, will continue to work as a scientific supervisor.
