On December 22, Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region, announced that there was no threat after an attack on a bank branch in Belgorod.
"There was an emergency in one of the financial organizations of the city of Belgorod. Law enforcement agencies are working. The suspect has been detained. There is no threat to the population. We are grateful to the law enforcement agencies for their promptness and ensuring the safety of residents," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
