A resident of Norilsk was arrested over the death of her five-month-old son.
A resident of Norilsk left her apartment for four days, leaving four young children unattended, which caused a five-month-old boy to starve to death, and two more children were hospitalized. This was reported on December 22 on the website of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia.
"Between December 14 and December 17, 2025, the accused left the apartment for a friend, leaving four children without proper supervision and food," the publication says.
According to the investigation, the woman lived with her three daughters aged 15, two, and one, as well as her five-month-old son. The boy died on December 17 from exhaustion due to prolonged starvation. During the inspection of the apartment, the investigators noted the absence of food in the refrigerator.
The two younger girls were taken to a medical facility, where they are receiving the necessary assistance. The eldest daughter has been placed in a social shelter for children. A criminal case has been opened against the woman under paragraphs "c" and "d" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
A correspondent for Izvestia reported from the Moscow Regional Court on December 18 that the prosecutor's office had requested a 15-year sentence in a general regime penal colony for Anna Boyarova, who, along with her daughter and a roommate, organized the murder of her former mother-in-law in the Moscow region. The plan of the massacre was developed for several months.
