President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay a working visit to Russia on December 21-22. This was announced on December 21 in the Telegram channel "Pool One".

In addition, a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin is planned.

During the visit, the Belarusian leader will take part in the summits of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which will be held in St. Petersburg.

"The traditional informal meeting of the heads of the CIS member states will be held on December 22. They will assess the prospects for integration cooperation, as well as summarize the results of the outgoing year," the message says.

On December 19, Putin announced at the Results of the Year that Russia and Belarus were closely cooperating with each other on security issues of the Union State. According to him, she is "in good hands."
