Figure skater Petrosyan won the short program at the Russian Championships

Figure skater Adelia Petrosyan took first place after the short program at the Russian Figure Skating Championships, which took place on December 19 in St. Petersburg.

Petrosyan received 86.52 points. Alisa Dvoeglazova came in second place with a score of 74.59 points, and Anna Frolova came in third with 73.93 points.

In her program, Petrosyan performed a triple axel. She landed him in a competition for the first time this season, Sport-Express adds.

Figure skater Pyotr Gumennik topped the standings on December 19 after the first day of competition in St. Petersburg. The athlete received 103.77 points from the judges and became the leader of the competition. The second place after the first day was taken by Evgeny Semenenko with a score of 100.99 points, the third was Andrey Mozalev, who scored 97.16 points.

At the same time, it was reported the day before that Petrosyan would compete in the short program of the Russian Championship – 2026 without a triple axel.
