A British mercenary in the DPR was sentenced to 13 years of strict regime

The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has sentenced British mercenary William Davis to 13 years in prison in a criminal case. This was announced on December 18 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

"The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic has handed down a verdict in the criminal case against Hayden William Davis, a 30-year-old citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. He was found guilty under Part 3 of Article 359 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation of a mercenary in an armed conflict)," the report says.
