Alexander Dronov, Governor of the Novgorod Region, signed a decree prohibiting the publication on the Internet of detailed information on the use of drones and the operation of air defense systems in the region. This was announced on December 17 by the press service of the regional government.

"The ban includes materials, including photos and videos, containing information about the type of UAV, the place of launch or fall, flight trajectory, damage to objects, the nature of the damage, as well as the operation of air defense and electronic warfare systems," the Telegram channel clarified.

The decree came into force on December 17. The restrictions do not apply to official communications from law enforcement agencies, government agencies, the governor, and local governments, as well as information indicating the source of its posting.

In Primorye, on November 1, the authorities also imposed a ban on the publication of information about the consequences of drone attacks, including data on the crash site, flight path and impact effects. It was clarified that the ban applies to any information that can be used by the enemy, including the location of military installations and air defense systems.
