In 2026, pensioners will be able to receive the entire amount of their funded pension in the form of a lump sum, if its amount does not exceed 440 thousand rubles. This was announced on December 17 by Elena Tsunaeva, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"A one—time payment is given if the funds of a citizen's pension savings in 2026 do not exceed 440 thousand," she said in an interview with TASS.

Tsunayeva explained that women over the age of 55 and men over the age of 60 can receive the payment. In order for a pensioner to take advantage of this opportunity, the amount of his savings must be less than 10% of the subsistence minimum, which is calculated according to the formula: divide the entire amount of savings by 270 months (the official calculation indicator set by the government of the Russian Federation).

Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation for the public examination of draft laws and other regulations, announced on December 17 that in 2026, men born in 1962 and women born in 1967 will receive an old-age insurance pension.
