Journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Pozner, commenting on publications about alleged requests to return TV presenter Ivan Urgant to the air, said that the article does not contain the names of "prominent Russians" who spoke in his support.

The day before, The New York Times (NYT) newspaper, citing sources, reported that some "prominent Russians" allegedly appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and asked him to return Urgant to the air of Channel One.
