The State Duma adopted in the second reading the law on the right of self-employed taxi drivers to work in foreign cars

In the second reading, the State Duma adopted amendments to the law on taxi localization. The relevant information was published on December 16 on the website of the legislative support system.

According to the amendments, for carriers who own a car for at least six months, the deadline for entry into force of the requirements for the localization level of the vehicle is postponed to January 1, 2033. This condition applies when entering information about the car in the regional register of passenger taxis within the quota of 25% established for each region.
