The Ministry of Tourism of the Perm Region announced the continuation of the search for missing tourists

The search and rescue operation in the mountains of the Perm Region, from where a group of tourists did not return after a snowmobile trip, continues. The work is complicated by adverse weather conditions. This was reported to Izvestia on December 15 by the press service of the Perm Krai Ministry of Tourism.

"According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Perm Region, the search for a group of tourists who did not return after a snowmobile ride in the mountains continues. We hope for a speedy and successful resolution of the situation. Unfortunately, the search is complicated by adverse weather conditions," the report says.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region clarified that the group's route had not been officially registered. This did not allow rescuers to track the movement of tourists and monitor their movement from the moment they left.

The Ministry of Tourism also reminded of the need for mandatory registration of tourist groups before starting the route. Travelers are advised to pay special attention to the weather forecast in winter in order to minimize risks and ensure the safety of participants.
