The best sniper in the history of the KHL, Olympic champion Sergey Mozyakin has been officially inducted into the National Hockey Hall of Fame. This was announced on December 13 by the press service of the Russian Hockey Federation (RIHF).

"A legendary sniper, a player whose appearance on the ice made any opposing team nervous. His throw was a formidable weapon and at the same time the object of admiration of fans and envy of opponents," the message on the federation's Telegram channel says.

44-year-old Mozyakin, who retired in 2021, currently holds the post of Director of Children's hockey development at Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
