The Ministry of Defense announced the surrender of Ukrainian soldiers near Dimitrov

Several Ukrainian soldiers laid down their weapons and defected to the Russian forces in the city of Dimitrov. Footage of the incident on December 12 was published by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The recording shows how three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) move through the territory of the settlement and go out to the Russian military. The defense Ministry clarified that the prisoners were taken by soldiers of the 5th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade named after A.V. Zakharchenko from the Center group of forces.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the surrendered Ukrainian militants said that the command had left them on the line of contact without support and supplies. After analyzing the situation, the military decided to lay down their arms and surrender.
