It became known about the sale of Makarevich wine from raw materials from the territory of Palestine

Musician Andrey Makarevich (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), who left Russia, together with his wife Einat Klein, is engaged in the production and sale of wine, the raw materials for which are grown in the territories of Palestine under Israeli control.

As RIA Novosti reported on December 11, grapes for a family winery are harvested in the area of the Israeli settlement of Beit El, located on the West Bank of the Jordan River.

The annotations to the Makarevich and Klein wines note that the vineyards are located "at an altitude of 850 m in the Samaria mountains" and are characterized as one of the best in Israel. At the same time, Israel has controlled these lands since 1967.

In 2024, pranksters Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexey Stolyarov) called Makarevich on behalf of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. During the conversation, the musician admitted that he wished Ukraine "victory" in the conflict and was "counting the days" before that.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched a pre-investigation check against Makarevich after his conversation with the prankers. Later, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow found that the musician conducts political activities in the interests of Ukraine. In addition, it was noted that Makarevich published materials related to the subject of the special military operation in Ukraine, in which he disseminated negative opinions about the decisions taken by the state authorities of the Russian Federation and their representatives.
