Ukrainian Sea Baby drones attacked the Dashan tanker sailing in the Black Sea. This was reported on December 10 by the TV channel "We are Ukraine", citing sources.

"On December 10, marine drones of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine. - Ed.) Sea Baby struck the oil tanker Dashan in the Black Sea. <...> The vessel under the flag of the Comoros Islands was moving in the exclusive economic zone of Ukraine," the Telegram channel of the publication says.

The TV channel writes that the ship was allegedly sailing at full speed and with the transponders turned off. A video is also attached to the publication, judging by which the drone strike fell in the area of the stern of the ship.

Sources of "We — Ukraine" said that the operation was carried out with the participation of the 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the SBU and the Naval Forces of Ukraine. It is claimed that the tanker suffered "critical damage." According to preliminary information, the ship has been disabled, the channel's interlocutors say.

"Our interlocutors also noted that the approximate cost of such a tanker is $30 million," the TV channel writes.

Earlier that day, the SBU reported on the detention and arrest in Odessa of a vessel flying the flag of one of the African countries. It is claimed that in January 2021, the ship transported about 7 thousand tons of grain to North Africa. The ship's owner, according to the SBU, was under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) and changed the ship's name and formal beneficiaries to circumvent restrictions.
