Germany announced the collapse of international aid to Ukraine

International aid to Ukraine is sharply declining, and Europe will not be able to compensate for the decline in support from the United States. This was announced on December 10 by experts from the German Institute of World Economy Kiel (IfW Kiel).

"Based on the aid data until October, Europe was unable to maintain the momentum of the first half of 2025. Given this slowdown, it will be difficult for Europe to fully compensate for the reduction in US military aid in 2025," said Christoph Trebes, head of the Ukraine Support Tracker project.

According to the report, in September and October, European countries provided Ukraine with only about €4.2 billion in military aid, which is not enough to replace the American reduction. If current trends continue, 2025 will be the period with the lowest new aid commitments since the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine.

Experts also noted the growing gap between European donors, where Germany, France and the United Kingdom have increased their support, while Italy and Spain have practically not provided it.

Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, announced on December 9 that the Netherlands would additionally allocate 700 million euros for military assistance to Ukraine, despite the corruption situation in the country. It was noted that since the beginning of 2022, the Netherlands has reserved about €13.6 billion to provide military assistance to the Kiev regime. Currently, €8.7 billion of these funds have already been spent.

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported on the same day that the Kiev regime had prepared another scheme to steal Western taxpayers' money. It involves the supply of artillery ammunition as part of the "Czech shell initiative" at vastly inflated prices through the Polish intermediary company PHU LECHMAR.

Earlier, on November 26, it became known that the Ukrainian authorities and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reached an agreement at the expert level on a new program of expanded financing of the country in the amount of about $ 8.1 billion. It is noted that the relevant negotiations were held from November 17 to November 21 at the initiative of Ukraine.
