India will continue to provide energy trading operations within the framework of its interests. This was announced on December 8 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"India, being and remaining a sovereign state, carries out foreign trade operations and purchases energy resources where it is beneficial for India," Peskov said at a briefing.
