On December 7, the Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported temporary problems with the region's electricity supply.

"The reason for the shutdown was adverse weather conditions," he said on the Telegram channel.

According to Balitsky, the power engineers are working to restore the power supply, and, according to experts, a complete repair of the network will take about two hours. The teams continue to carry out the necessary work on the ground.

Earlier, on December 6, it was reported that the 750 kV Dneprovskaya high-voltage power transmission line at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) was put into operation.
