A fire in Prague destroyed retro cars worth about $10 million.

As a result of the fire in Prague, several retro cars worth about 200 million crowns (approximately $10 million) were destroyed. This was announced on December 6 by the representative of the Prague fire protection service, Vojtech Rotschedl.

"A large fire occurred on Saturday night in a tire repair shop in Prague's Strasnice district. There were retro cars in the building. The preliminary damage is estimated at 200 million crowns ($10 million — Ed.)," the Idnes news portal quoted him as saying.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the night of Saturday, December 6, at a tire repair shop located in the Strashnice area. There were rare cars in the building at the time of the fire. The fire covered an area of 900 square meters. m. Rescuers were able to contain the flames and prevent further spread of the fire after about an hour. The causes of the fire are currently being determined.
