Former world number two Vera Zvonareva made it to the finals of the ITF W100 tournament in Dubai on December 6.
In the semifinal match, Zvonareva was stronger than 16-year-old British athlete Mika Stoysavljevic, who ranks 342nd in the world ranking. The meeting lasted 3 hours and 8 minutes and ended with a score 6:3, 6:7 (4:7), 6:4.
In the final, the Russian will play with the winner of the match Petra Marcinko (Croatia) — Xinyu Gao (China).
