The organizer of the neo-Nazi organization "White Suit" complained about the conditions in prison

Nationalist Nikolai Korolev, the life-long convicted creator of the terrorist community "White Suit" and leader of the extremist group "Spas" (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist), expressed dissatisfaction with prison conditions and sued for compensation in the form of almost 6.5 million rubles. This became known from court materials, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti on December 6.

In a statement of claim filed with a Moscow court, Korolev expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions of his long stay in the Polar Owl high-security penal colony. He claimed that these conditions violated his rights. In particular, the prisoner pointed out the unfavorable climate, poor heating and lighting of the cells, lack of hot water, as well as the unsatisfactory location and arrangement of the bathroom, which was located in close proximity to the sleeping place and did not provide adequate privacy.

In addition, Korolev complained of deteriorating health, social isolation and the inability to keep in touch with his family. He demanded more than 6.5 million rubles as compensation for the moral and physical damage caused.

A correspondent for Izvestia reported on September 2 that the Second Western District Military Court had sentenced Korolev to life imprisonment. It was clarified that Korolev had already been sentenced to life in prison in the case of the explosion at Cherkizovsky market in 2006 and for a number of other crimes.

In April last year, security forces in Crimea conducted a special operation, as a result of which 12 members of the interregional neo-Nazi organization "White Suit" were detained. The leader of the structure encouraged its members to carry out violent actions against migrants and law enforcement officers, organized training sessions on special and physical training and the manufacture of Molotov cocktails. At the same time, he disguised his actions with a Russian flag in order to present combat training as activities for the benefit of Russia.
