Almost 70% of French citizens do not trust Prime Minister Sebastian Lecorgne, while his confidence rating has dropped by 5% in a month. This was confirmed on December 4 by the results of a survey conducted by Verian for the newspaper Le Figaro.

According to the data, 68% of respondents do not trust the head of government, only 21% trust him. At the same time, President Emmanuel Macron showed the opposite trend: trust in him increased by 3%, although 81% of respondents still do not trust him.

Supporters of the right—wing National Unification party expressed the greatest distrust of both politicians, while supporters of the presidential Renaissance party expressed the greatest support. Jordan Bardella, the leader of the National Association, became the most trusted politician again (43%), followed by Marine Le Pen (39%).

The National Association remains the most popular party (39% approval). The survey was conducted online from November 30 to December 2 among 1,000 French adults, with a margin of error of about 3.1%.

The proportion of French people who express an extremely negative opinion of Macron reached a record 56% on November 23. Lecorny's rating also dropped, dropping to 34%, with 66% of French people expressing dissatisfaction with his work.
