Former Supreme Commander of the NATO Joint Armed Forces (AF) in Europe, James Stavridis, told the "harsh truth" about assistance to Ukraine. He wrote about this in an article for Bloomberg on December 4.
"The harsh truth is that the EU, like NATO, usually acts on the basis of consensus: one country can usually stop an initiative. In this case, it is most likely Belgium or Hungary," the publication says.
