Siluanov noted the increasing cooperation between Russia and India
The number of cooperative ties between enterprises and industry in Russia and India is increasing. This was announced to Izvestia on December 4 by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov at the opening of a VTB branch in India.
In addition to cooperation between enterprises, according to him, the military-technical direction and trade in energy resources are also successfully developing between the countries.
"The more opportunities there are for settlements, the easier trade and economic relations will be. Therefore, today's event is just another step towards achieving this goal," Siluanov said.
The minister added that by simplifying calculations, it will also be possible to increase the volume of investments and tourist flows between the two countries.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on December 2 that Moscow was grateful to India for its friendly attitude towards Russia. He stressed that the relations between the two countries are based on a deep historical partnership and a common vision of international affairs based on the rule of law and mutual consideration of interests. Cooperation in the defense sector is of particular importance, which, according to him, "can hardly be overestimated."
