Ovechkin's assists helped Washington beat Los Angeles in an away match

HC Washington Capitals scored an away victory over the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match with a score of 3:1, extending their winning streak to five matches.

The pucks were scored by forwards Tom Wilson (15th minute), Anthony Beauvillier (42nd) and Alexei Protas (59th). Striker Adrian Kempe scored the only goal for the hosts (26).

Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin provided two assists and extended his scoring streak to five games. He also made league history by becoming the seventh hockey player to score 800 points in away games (463 goals + 337 assists).

Washington (34 points) is second in the Metropolitan Division, Los Angeles (31 points) is third in the Pacific.

Ovechkin rose to 22nd place in the number of NHL games on November 29. The Washington Capitals game against Toronto ended with a score of 4:2 in favor of the Capitals. Now the 40-year-old Russian has 23 (11+12) points in 25 games this season.
