Putin signed a decree on the transfer of Lenfilm to the ownership of St. Petersburg

On December 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the transfer of the Lenfilm studio to the ownership of St. Petersburg. The relevant document has been published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"In order to develop film production in the Russian Federation, I decide <...> to accept the proposal <...> to transfer 100 percent of the shares of Lenfilm Film Studio, which are federally owned, to the ownership of the City of St. Petersburg," the document says.
