Coach Borodavko called for a more restrained attitude towards the admission of Russians to FIS tournaments

It is too early to rejoice at the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on the admission of Russian athletes to competitions under the auspices of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), but the first step in the right direction has been taken. This was announced on December 2 by the senior coach of the Russian national ski racing team, Yuri Borodavko.

"This is not news anymore. We knew about it and were waiting for this decision. I am pleased that the CAS has accepted it in our favor. But this is only the first step on the way to the Olympic Games. Now there is quite a long work ahead, because coordination with the federation on the admission of Russian athletes is ahead," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
