Szijjarto: Europe intends to start a conflict with Russia, preparations are underway
Europe is preparing for a conflict with Russia, and the question is whether it will be possible to prevent the complete destruction of the continent. This was announced on December 1 by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
"Europe is currently preparing for a conflict against Russia, and the bet in the next period will be whether it will be possible to prevent the complete destruction of the entire continent," he said, quoted by the MTI news agency.
Szijjarto noted that the conflict between Europe and Russia could begin in 2030, as the European Union plans to complete preparations for full combat by 2029. He stressed the importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Hungary in 2026, urging voters to participate in them and prevent a new war.
According to the minister, the international situation continues to escalate, and Hungary must be ready to counter the threats posed by possible military actions in Europe. Szijjarto also expressed concern about the possible consequences of global conflicts for the entire continent.
Russian Ambassador to Belgium Denis Gonchar said on November 27 that NATO was actually preparing its population for a conflict with Russia. According to him, the alliance is intimidating people with the Kremlin's alleged plans to attack allied countries and is already preparing for a possible major conflict.
At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during a press conference following a state visit to Kyrgyzstan that the Russian Federation was ready to register the absence of state intentions to attack Europe. He clarified that the European representatives promoting such speculations are "crooks" or "a little crazy."
