Salavat Yulaev beat CSKA in the KHL match in shootouts

Ufa hockey club (HC) Salavat Yulaev defeated CSKA in the regular season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The match took place on December 1 at the CSKA Arena stadium with a score of 3:2 in a shootout.

In the fifth minute of the meeting, Jack Rodewald put Salavat Yulaev ahead, and in the 37th minute, Alexander Zharovsky doubled Ufa's advantage. However, CSKA did not give up: in the 43rd minute Denis Guryanov reduced the gap, and in the 47th minute Prokhor Poltapov equalized the score.

In overtime, the winner was not determined, and the match went into a shootout, where the hockey players of Salavat Yulaev turned out to be stronger. As a result, the guests won 3-2.

HC Salavat Yulaev is in seventh place in the Eastern Conference table with 29 points, while CSKA is in eighth place in the Western Conference table with 32 points.
