Since the end of November, owners of Porsche cars in Russia have started contacting the services more often due to problems with blocking regular alarms. This was announced by Rolf on December 1.

"Our experts have found out that the problem is blocking the standard alarm via satellite...> Any car can be blocked," the company's message tells RIA Novosti.

The company's specialists have determined that the problem is related to blocking the standard alarm system of Porsche cars via satellite communication. At the moment, the alarm system does not work on all models and types of internal combustion engines (ICE). To fix the problem, car owners are asked to reboot the alarm unit and disassemble the device.

The company is exploring the possibility of alternative ways to unlock. Rolfe also reported that experts are investigating the cause of these blockages and do not rule out that they could have been caused by conscious influence.

Alarm problems are also observed among owners of Mercedes-Benz cars, but in these cases the situations are isolated, and the cars do not fail.

Auto expert Alexander Kovalev reported on November 13 that Skoda Superb and Octavia cars, which can be found on the Russian secondary market, often have problems with electrics, regardless of generation, from control units to contacts in door harnesses. He added that the Skoda Fabia and Rapid also have doubts about gearboxes, especially on cars from 2008-2011 with the preselective "robot" DQ200.
