The body of a GUR agent who was destroyed in preparation for a terrorist attack in Crimea was filmed

The Center for Public Relations of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia has published video footage showing a liquidated agent of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to the agency, he tried to commit a terrorist attack against an officer of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The footage presented on December 1 shows the body of the eliminated attacker, as well as the car of a Russian officer, under which the attacker planted an explosive device. In addition, the FSB showed a video of the detention of an accomplice of a Ukrainian agent.

According to the agency, the recruited Ukrainian was tasked with blowing up a Russian serviceman with an explosive device placed in his personal car. The perpetrator of the terrorist attack was neutralized by placing explosives under the car and offering armed resistance. His accomplice has been detained and a criminal case has been opened.

The prevention of a terrorist attack against a Russian officer was reported earlier that day. A criminal case has been opened under Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Assistance to terrorist activities"). It has been established that the organization of the terrorist attack is the employee of the GUR, Rustem Fakhriev, born in 1984.

Earlier, on November 20, the FSB prevented a terrorist attack against a high-ranking officer of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The Ukrainian special services used a new, multi-stage scheme to poison a serviceman in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
