"It's not just about ending the <conflict>. We are talking about ending the conflict in such a way as to create a mechanism and a way forward that will allow Ukraine to remain independent and sovereign," he said at a meeting with the Ukrainian delegation.

He noted that Washington wants Ukraine to be able to ensure prosperity and enter the trajectory of economic growth. According to him, the country has significant economic potential that cannot be realized in the midst of military operations.
