The Ukrainian delegation began a meeting in the United States with representatives of the administration of the American President Donald Trump on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on November 30 by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov, who heads the Ukrainian delegation.

"The meeting of the Ukrainian delegation with the American side on steps to achieve a decent peace has already begun in the United States," Umerov wrote on his Telegram channel.

He added that he was in constant contact with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and would report to him on the results of the negotiations in the United States.

Alex Raufoglu, a journalist, shared footage of the arrival of the Ukrainian delegation at the meeting place in Miami with Izvestia.

According to the Axios portal, the meeting of the US and Ukrainian delegations is taking place at the personal golf club of US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. According to a senior US official, during today's meeting, the White House wants to resolve the remaining differences.

"Ukrainians know what we expect from them," Axios quoted him as saying.

On November 29, Zelensky appointed Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), as the head of the delegation to the negotiations on a peaceful settlement.

Zelensky announced on November 28 that Ukraine, as part of negotiations with the United States, would be represented by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Andrei Gnatov and Umerov. According to him, they will also be joined by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the country's intelligence agencies.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that negotiations on Ukraine are currently underway only with the United States. According to him, by the time the American delegation arrives in Moscow, Russia will have information about the agreed points of the peace plan.
