The prisoner of war told about insults from British instructors
British instructors who trained fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at a training ground in the Rivne region called them rabble. This was announced on November 29 by the captured Ukrainian military Nikolai Verkhovets.
"I know that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are robbing houses and stealing valuables. Everything that is valuable is stolen. I could have paid off and not gone to the front, but I didn't have that kind of money. And those who have a lot of money probably bought it off," he said.
The Ukrainian militant was captured by fighters of the group of forces "Center" of the Armed Forces of Russia in the area of Krasnoarmeysk. He said that during one of the battles, his unit was in a trench, and after one powerful explosion, the Ukrainians surrendered. The Russian military offered the militants food and water, and provided medical assistance.
Earlier, on November 25, Ukrainian militant Artyom Kondybko, who surrendered, reported on the cruel orders he received from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also noted that his task was to destroy not only Russian servicemen, but also his own comrades-in-arms, who were retreating, unwilling to fight.
