The mother of Russian musician Stas Namin, Nami Mikoyan, died at the age of 97.

The mother of Russian musician and producer Stas Namin, Nami Mikoyan, died at the age of 98. This was announced on November 27 by the press service of the Union of Armenians of Russia.

"Another sad news came last night. Nami Artemovna Mikoyan, the mother of rock musician and producer Stas Namin, has died," the union's Telegram channel says.

Nami Mikoyan was a music historian and journalist who published a book of memoirs "With Her Own Eyes." Also, in honor of his mother, Namin took a creative pseudonym, under which he became known, adds "Газета.Ru ".

It is noted that the funeral service and farewell ceremony for the performer's mother will be held on November 28 at the Armenian Church on Olympic Avenue.
