Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko announced on November 27 that the European Union (EU) was preparing for a possible military confrontation with Russia.
"The main content of the military construction policy of the NATO countries and the European Union, which has submitted to it, is to prepare the economy, infrastructure, logistics, society, and military organization for a direct armed clash with Russia," TASS quoted him as saying.
