In Russia, there has been a sharp increase in the number of "false" self-employed. This was announced on November 26 by Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matvienko during a speech at the plenary session.

"In principle, this is a violation of the law. And the number of such false self-employed has increased dramatically. This, of course, is an absolutely vicious practice, and we have appealed to the government, the government is engaged in this," TASS quoted her as saying.
