More than 28 thousand subscribers in the Zaporizhia region were left without electricity as a result of the strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on November 25 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

From November 23 to November 24, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out over 30 strikes on energy infrastructure facilities in the northwestern part of the Zaporizhia region, which led to damage to some of the equipment.

"On the night of November 25, one of the key power supply facilities was damaged due to enemy strikes. As a result, more than 28 thousand subscribers in the Zaporizhia region are without electricity," the message says.

Recovery teams have begun work on the damaged areas, but drone activity remains high in some areas, which limits the work.

Earlier in the day, Balitsky spoke about a short-term power outage in some settlements of the Zaporizhia region due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike. According to him, the power engineers are working in accordance with the enhanced regime. As the governor noted, the work is complicated by the threat of repeated attacks from the enemy.
